Associates
Associates of the Assiniboine Psychological Group have been selected because of their background, academic qualifications, therapy strengths and interpersonal skills. Each associate is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and is specialized in their area of interest. Collectively, they bring a broad range of expertise and enhance the services that we offer in our clinic.
Dr. Vivienne Rowan oversees the work of associates, provides weekly supervision and is involved in the assessment and treatment process. Dr. Rowan and the associates of the clinic network with other professionals in the community (psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, etc.). If the services that you are seeking are not available at our clinic, we will make every effort to refer you to an appropriate support.
Shayla Harapiak, M.A.
Shayla Harapiak works under the supervision of a registered psychologist, Dr. Vivienne Rowan. She received her Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Manitoba. Her clinical experience includes assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, adults, and couples in the following areas: anxiety, depression, self-esteem and healthy life style changes, as well as relationships, and workplace issues. She has a special interest in working with individuals with generalized anxiety and enjoys working with families who have young children.
